I purchased my desktop in November last year. Just recently tried to watch some catch-up Tv but cannot! I am told to install adobe flash player, but when I go to the website, it tells me that it is already installed, and to update! It then cycles between two pages, with nothing much happening. then I am advised to uninstall the programme....... but it is not on the computer! Today I found the flashplayer icon in the 'systems & security' section of control panel!!!! What do I have to do to get tis to work? I have also found out that Windows 8 is meant to have this as a standard feature...... yeah, great. I hate windows 8!!!!!!!
I tried to contact acer through the ask section on te website, but for some reason, I cannot access all the drop-down boxes to enter the info, not does the submit button respond!

According to the Adobe Flash Player Help:
If you are using Windows 8, Flash Player is embedded in both Modern IE and Modern IE in desktop mode.
