Hoping to learn some more RE Dual Graphics...
I have a X1470-UR26 and am trying to find out which ATI card would work with the Radeon HD 6530D that came from ACER...the CPU (APU) is a A3620.
Ideas as to which card I could install in the PCI x16 slot and would work with the factory GPU?
Thanks, and I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else!

Hi DocH
You cannot use onboard & PCI card graphics at the same time. The PCI graphics card will override the onboard graphics.
If you want to use dual monitors, you need a card with multiple connections, IE VGA, DVI & HDMI. Also, as your PC is a small form factor, you will need a low profile card. Just make sure your power supply is sufficient for the card you choose.

I am looking forward to buy the Acer Revo RL80-UR22 (DT.SPMAA.001) - hope it is published at the German market soon. Can I use it for Dual Screen? So I plug in a monitor by DVI and the other by HDMI. Because my currently used monitors have both DVI connectors I have to use one HDMI-DVI adapter.

This is what I wanted to do:
"What AMD now calls Dual Graphics was originally referred to as Hybrid CrossFire. From a technical standpoint, the older designation was probably more on-point, since the feature leverages AMD's multi-GPU technology as a means to scale the performance of an APU using discrete graphics. "
"Simply, that means you're able to take an APU-powered system and add a Radeon card, link them together, and harness the resources of both to push frame rates higher than you'd see from either the APU or add-in card on its own.
The above is from here:

Or maybe I am misunderstanding it...
Thanks for any info You have on this!

Hi Sebastian!
I can't see any problems using it with dual screens. They only thing is I don't know if that particular model is available in Germany.
The closest I can find is this one.

Am I able to use dual monitors with this device, or will i need to acquire an external graphic card?

Hi!
Unless it already has 2 ports, EG, 1 x VGA & 1 x HDMI, then you will need an external card (which has 2 or more ports).

It should accept a splitter, but this will just duplicate everything from the first screen!
