I recently purchased this computer refurbished. After unpacking it and setting it up I quickly realized the touchscreen function wasn't working. I checked in PC properties and it said pen and touch is not available for this computer. I know this computer is supposed to be touchscreen based on the SNID. Any advice? I've scoured the internet for days and havent found anything. There is a small chance that the refurb may have caused this not to work, but it seems like people are having alot of problems with touch and Windows 8.

Touchscreen availability is dependent on ZS600 submodel number. Take a look at the Datasheet (not general description) on Acer.com for your particular model.  Just a quick perusal by me found that submodels -UR15 and -UW10 do not have a touchscreen.

 Thanks for the reply Leho. It is the UR308 model and has touchscreen listed in the datasheet.
