We have no way of knowing any changes that may have been made to the configuration of your system. As such, we are unable to assist in determining if a specific third party upgrade will fit or function in your system.
You should be able to determine the size of the card from whichever manufacturer you are looking at.
The interior of the desktop space for the card is easily measured to compare to the above spec.
We do not recommend or endorse any particular third party product.

yes thank you, but what i want to know if the m3985 motherboard can handle high-end (high specs) devices such as today's latest graphic cards (like gtx 660 or gtx 690 or radeon 7900 series) with 198/256 bits and 5000+ clock speed.. since the other m3985 model has an NVIDIA GT 620, i know that other nvidias will fit the PCI-e slots.
to specify i don't care about the third party products, but i only ask for the specification the motherboard can handle, since old motherboard models can't handle high-end devices..
other problems that will happen will be at my own risk, i know that.
and anyway thanks for replying..

The system supports:
Extension slot
Those are standard expansion slots. Cards that meet those requirements will work. Please be sure that you look at any additional power that may be required by a higher end video card. Some will need one or two additional connections directly to the power supply, which may or may not be available on your system.

Hi,
I have the same configuration and I am thinking to upgrade my graphic's card too.
According to the Acer technician above the system can handle 1 * PCIE x16 (PCIE V3.0) which is the case of the GTX 660.
What's the problem you faced with this card? Why you said that the motherboard cannot handle it?
Can you please provide some more information?
Thanks in advance.
