Hello, my Aspire m3985 with the following standard setup:
WINDOWS 8
Intel Core i7 processor 3770
nVidia GeForce GT640 4GB
1TB Hard Drive
8GB DDR3 memory
DVD-Super Multi drive
Card Reader
Wireless LAN+ Bluetooth.
The problem is if i can change the GT640 that's in there for my own GTX 750 Ti, is this possible ? Because the GT 640 is 55 watt TDP and the GTX 750ti is 60Watt TDP. 5 watt isn't much difference right ? But i am still concerned about the power supply amps. So What to do
?..there is also a sample file for the Graphic card Manufacture...

Hi limtenggen
The GT640 requires a minimum of 350w PSU, yet the GTX 750 Ti needs only 300w. So as long as your power supply is a minimum of 350 watts, you'll have no problems!

can i take that as a offical answer ?

As far as I'm concerned.
The data for the power supply for the graphics cards come directly from Nvidia themselves: GT640 GTX 750 Ti
If you're really worried, you can upograde your power supply too. Around 500-600watts will be more than enough!
