Hi,

I'm trying to solve a boot issue with my mom's M3541.

No video output (power led on my LCD should be blue, but stays orange).

After pressing the power button, the system start (that is, I can hear the Fan),

but after 15-20 seconds, the blue LED near the power button start blinking.

I've already replaced the video card and the memory, but no improvement.....

RIP Motherboard ?

Hi Martin

Yes, it may be the motherboard, but it could be the power supply too.

If you can borrow a supply from a friend or family member, swap it out with yours, to see if there is any difference. If there isn't any change then it will be the motherboard.

Have you tried taking the CMOS battery out? I took my one out then put it back in. Solved the same problem on my pc.
