i have an Acer Veriton M410, running XP and everything is original, need to know what battery(model #) is needed to replace battery on motherboard/cmos. thank you, in advance for your help

You may want to check with the Acer store site to see if that is a part sold through the store, however I do not believe so.

Most often this little flat silver battery is on the systemboard and is a CR232 model. You can go to a store (i.e. Walmart) with the CMOS battery and buy one of same size and capacity before sliding it back in its slot on the system board.
