Hello.  I have upgraded my pc to Windows 8 64 bit and it works brilliantly except the AverMedia 336 DVB-T tuner isn't compatible  so I have lost the tv function.  (driver not found, no update found)

AverMedial tell me they don't make the driver - Acer do.   Acer tells me, more or less, tough, they have no intention of upgrading the driver, my 2 year old machine is not suitable for the upgrade to Windows 8.

I have successfully upgraded other machines by two or more Windows OS so I am furious that my not cheap Acer is already out of date.  I expected better from Acer.

Having calmed down after this shocking response from Acer I am hoping someone here has found a workaround.

All help much appreciated.

Hi Guys

I have bought an All in one Acer ZS600. I understand that to watch TV on it I need a DVB-T card. However, when I contacted Acer in November last year they said they haven't developed an accessory for this model yet because it's a new model. Does anyone know if I can get the accessory now or anyother accessory would work with this.

Hi, you can buy an external dvb-t card which will plug in to a USB port, like these:

It already has a DVB-T card in it.      If you are using Windows 7, open Windows Media Centre and set it up there.

How did you download from http://global-download.acer.com/ when I put that in my browser I am asked for an account name and password.

Just replaced the graphics card as old one causing a problem and decided to run with Windows 8 to maximise the touch screen etc.  Followed the Aver driver link and get 404, page not found. HELP!!  Does anyone know where it is re-located or has Acer chopped it out?

Also Looking for Touch screen driver.  The touch screen worked all through the setup process but refuses to respond now Win8 is installed ?????
