Acer Aspire AZ600 screen calibration?

Hi, I just bought the system here and I'm pretty satisfied: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-AZS600-UR308-23-Inch-Desktop-Black/dp/B009M3PKO2/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8&colid=2SSD6YCUR7LJ&coliid=I2Q8ARTVLBOEC5

Problem is, I'm not sure if I'm able to calibrate the colors on the screen when I plug in something into my HDMI IN port. For example, I play my xbox 360 using the HDMI IN port and sometimes the game coloring looks washed out and unsaturated.

Is there any way to fix this or is this just something to deal with?

On the ZS600 with Windows 8 you can access generic colour calibration as follows.

    Control Panel

    Hardware and Sound

    search (upper right) for Color

under Display, select Calibrate display color

Follow the menu (I think that there might even be a short tutorial).

    Thanks Leho.

Yeah, I did exactly that, and calibrated the screen as soon as I got it. I even used the intel program inside Windows 8 to adjust contrast/saturation.

But these settings seem to only apply in Windows 8/OS do not seem to carry over when using HDMI.

Usually there are physical buttons on a monitor to adjust contrast/brightness.

If only there was a way to keep the brightness/contrast settings when using HDMI.
