the left blue light on my c720 used to be blue and is now purple.

The left light on my c720 used to be blue but is now purple. Also, my machine will no longer do a complete shutdown by holding down the power button. The orange light stays on instead.

Try replacing the "daughter" boards.

Sounds like the red component of the multicolored LED is not shutting off... Might not be a real issue, but a fix is liable to be hardware.
