    I'm buying a laptop for business. Is the Acer Chromebook compatibale with MicroSoft Word & Excel?

     

    Or are MicroSoft Word and Excel even required for a Chromebook? 

     

    I have heard great reviews for Chromebook, but I have never used one.

      Microsoft makes free apps for Chomebooks that include Word and Excel. You should be able to open, edit and save, though they work best with cloud hosted files.
