Acer Chromebook R11 Choppy Xfinity Video

Hello, I recently purchased this chromebook (Acer R11 CB5-132T-C1LK), and streaming on demand from tv.xfinity.com is often very choppy/stuttery on a fast, stable internet connection. I do not have this problem on youtube and disabling hardware video decoding seems to have helped somewhat. I am hoping someone has a solution or has faced similar issues. Thanks!
