I am thinking of getting the c720 for its matte screen.

Will I be able to see the screen in the sunlight?

Are other options better for reading outside?

You should have no problem seeing the screen in sunlight, although very bright and direct sunlight may make it less enjoyable. The system does allow for brightness adjustment.

I have read a few user reviews which mention how the screen behaves in sunlight.
