How do I get my Acer C7 chromebook to delete web history on shut down. My last pc had a way to set this up.

Should be in the settings. In Chrome, on the upper right hand side there should be 3 little lines. Click on that and go to settings. If you don't see them there, click advanced settings at the bottom of the page and keep reading. I know that it should be there somewhere.

I have tried that and all it allows is to manually delete.

Install an extension called Click&Clean from the Chrome Store.  Easy to set to clean History on exiting the browser.
