Is there a Chromebook track pad equivalent to the right mouse button?

[ Editado ]

Is there a Chromebook track pad equivalent to the right mouse button?

When I click on the lower right hand corner of the trackpad, it clicks open the link rather thank giving me a menu to select options like 'Open in a New Tab', 'Open in a New Window', etc.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Is there a Chromebook track pad equivalent to the right mouse button?

Thanks to someone else giving me the link to a Chromebook user guide, I found the answer.

Click on a link with two fingers instead of one to produce right mouse button functionality.

I found pressing the Alt button and clicking the bottom of the pad (as you noted) on the item, the menu will come up. I hope that is clear and not confusing.

Re: Is there a Chromebook track pad equivalent to the right mouse button?

Thank you for the response, but I solved this problem months ago. By moving the mouse to the link, and then press down on the trackpad with two fingers, gets the menu to come up. I just tried the Alt button trick that you mentioned; it works as well. That's good to know. Thanks for your help.
