You mean intel graphics driver is working on win7 but not on win8? I just cant wait to see the touchpad and keyboard working.

Indeed. On win7 just make sure you keep the lid shut until the machine boots up fully.

Windows 8.1 works fine, and Windows 7 does too.  You must install teamviewer and then make a account that you can connect to, the black screen only appears on the laptop until you change your resoultion to 1366x768 or somthing like that, then the screen works after changing the settings.  You must connect via teamviewer to change the res to make the screen work.  Performance is really good

that's rather interesting. I had to keep the lid shut until the system fully booted to resolve the black screen issue on Windows 7. Are you using a custom BIOS or stock? I'm using the stock BIOS here.

I can try Windows 8.1 on it again on the weekend, had to reinstall Linux Mint for now as I need the Chromebook for school.

I'm using custom bios but the custom bios don't have full acpi implimentation too so don't power management.

Keyboards and touchpad doesn't works with custom bios too.
