Trying to find a Users Manual for a Acer Aspire Desktop ATC-603-EB11

I have searched and tried to find a user manual for this product with no luck on this Acer site.
Yes I can find a Generic manual which shows no actual product or info about the product other than general info.
For instance, the wireless keyboard that came with the product would not capture a screen shot when ctrl and prtscr key were pushed , I finally found the answer on the internet not an Acer site. Most Acer laptops will capture a screenshot when the ctrl and prtscrn key are pushed but this wireless keyboard requires Fn and Prntscrn .
This is very frustrating with no adequate user manual provided . I have also wastedtime trying to get this info with CHAT, boy was that a waste of time.
I have purchased a number of Acer Laptops over the years and they all had User manuals. I am disappointed in the amount of time I have wasted trying to find a user manual for the Acer Desktop and will consider returning the item and purchase another computer manufacturer for all my future computer needs unless a solution to the lack of user manual for this Acer Desktop is not solved ASAP.

If I soumd too harsh it's because this latest Acrer purchase has been nothing but a stress that I don't need.

    Oldtimer,

Usually the user manual is loaded on the computer itself in the Acer folder. From the tile screen, type user manual and see if something pops up. I just checked one of our brand new all in one systems with Windows 10 and it has the user manual in the Acer folder, I would presume that it would be on your system as well.

You  must be kidding that takes me to the Acer web page that is supposed to provide Manuals and Drivers etc.

This is where I have wasted hours trying to find a manual for the ATC-603-EB11 desktop . This computer is not even listed and all it suggests is the  Generic manual, which in reality is worth nothing.

Where is the Usere Manual similar to what every Acer Laptop I have ever purchased .No instructions or manual for the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the desktop either.

Other Aspire desktops have manuals but not this unit.

    This is totally unacceptable .

    Oldtimer,

I can confirm that we only have a generic user guide posted in even the location I would normally look to see if a user manual was available. If we had something other than a generic I would download it, save, and send to you, but there is nothing to send unfortunately. Smiley Sad

    Thank you for the reply.

It is unfortunate that Acer has let their product line documention fall below customer expectation.

I have purchased a number of  Acer Aspire Laptops through the years and ha ve always found proper documention available.

I usually buy on line since I can not visit stores that sell Acer products, I depend on reading all available documentation on products that I'm considering to buy since I  can't see and check the item out before I buy.
When propoer documentatio n iis provided for say item AST630 a desktop unit there is no excuse why ATC-603-EB11 can not have the same.

Just a point , a wireless keyboard and mouse is part of ATC-603-EB11 , kit drove me nearly nuts trfying to get the correct keys to press to produce a screenshot. My laptops (Acer) will produce a screen shot with a Ctrl + prtsc but not ATC-603-EB11 nor would a shft + prtsc , it was only after reading a comment by someone on a non-Acer site about an other p;roblem someone was having that I found out along with the previous mentioned key strokes pressing Fn +Prt will produce a screenshot. That's not right that I had to stumble onto a solution because Acer did not seem to think providing a propoer users manual with this particular model was their duty or customer servuice.

To say I am dissappointed in Acer is an understatement and will surely make any further computer purchases by me an uncertanty as far as it being an Acer product.

    Thanks again for your efforts.

Hello, I am new to the Site but not new to Acer or Computers for that matter......

With Laptops there are limitations to what Keys are where and how. I have om EVERY Laptop I have owned had to press the FN key to get the Print Screen to work. Even my Still owned today OLD Compaq V5000 that is 15" need to press the FN key for that to work. You know it wasn't always that you could just do a Print Screen without pasting that to a Program to make a Gif or JPG aka JPEG or Png file. So sure aftrer looking around the NET I found out that you could just press on this computer that is a Desktop and now any Laptop or Desktop that I have Win8.1 or 10 on I can just press the Windows Button and the Prn Scr button and it will capture what is on your screen.......

One I have no more machines with Win8 I do have 1 with 8.1 with Bing it works, Windows 10 it works. Also my Machines with Win 7 it don't do anything and my Laptops that now have Windoes 10 an Acer One 255 a 255E and a 257 all before needed me to press the FN key win Win7 to do a Prn Scr before can now just press Windoes key and Prn Scr and it will save a copy in my Pictures folder and Screen Shots Folder. Also if you are set up with OneDrive it will even save it to your One Drive if you elect to do so.

Why would you Expect Acer to tell you that you can do just them KEY Strokes right now to get it to save a Screen Shot. It is not Hardware that makes it do that, It is the Software.

PS. I have had computers back when there was BBS and no internet. When you had a Modem that was a Craddle not a box or a card and you had to take your phone set and sit in. Back when speeds were so slow to update your system could take 2 days to download the newest and greatest software, When it was a DOG eat Dog world. When someone would find something new and keep it to themself. Or you could join a System with a Cool Sysop that would share all the Latest and Greatest things with computers. Enrich the Mind of others. I like to help others THERE IS JUST TO MUCH SOFTWARE RELATED THINGS WITH COMPUTERS TO EXPECT A HARDWARE COMPANY SHARE WHAT ANOTHER PERSONS SOFTWARE CAN DO. INTERNET IS HERE TO ENRICH OUR MINDS

First off it wasn't so much a key stroke sequence as it was a lack of any usuable documentation for the DESKTOP unit I just purchased.

I have purchased a number of Acer laptops through the years and know what kind of documentation is generally provided, nothing of this kind was supplied with this particular desktop although it is with various other Acer desktop models.
