Currently I have win 10 anniversary installed in my Aspire X3950-SD32B. Suddenly a couple days ago started an infinite reboot loop with diffferent errors. I thought (correctly) that it could be a RAM problem. The stick that was causing troubles was a gddr3-1333 2gb 128mx8 Unifosa, model. GU512303EP0202.
I contacted Acer first, they told me that the only thing I had to have in mind is that the ram sockets are limited to 2gbs. With that in mind I started searching my town for 2gb rams. I found a Kingston one, after that I decided to ask the people from kingston if it was compatible. It wasn't, they told me that the only 2 models compatible are discontinued: kac-vr313/2g and kvr-1333d3s8n9/2g.
After a search for those rams in my country, I decided to call Acer again and ask for some orientation about other manufacturers that I could get stick. They told me that the only stick available for the system is the SAMSUNG DDR3 1333MHZ 2G UNB-UFFERED DIMM W/O ECC F DIE (46NM).
What do I do? Who should I believe? Kingston website doesn't even show my pc in their listings for compatibility. Anyone knows what current production ram I could use? What makes this rams so special that only this ones work on this motherboard?
