please enter BIOS at boot pressing F2 at check if HDD is listed under SATA devices.

I did check in BIOS . The Hard Disk details are visible in BIOS .I even tried and changed the Boot priority but that didn't help either .

    The exact message displayed is

    Check Cable connection

    Exiting PXE-ROM

No Bootable device-insert boot disk and press any key

I removed and reinserted the Hard Disk cable to the mother board but that didn't work either .Not sure where the connection problem is .

yes, that message appear when a bootable device is missing and it's trying to boot from the ethernet adapter.

have you tried to press Alt+F10 at boot to enter Acer erecovery?

    which windows version is installed?

What would Alt+F10 do ? and how would it fix the issue ?

Alt+f10, if the HDD works, will start Acer recovery.
This is needed to check if HDD is still in good shape.
