Invalid SNID issue when registering product

I recently purchased a new Aspire screen/desktop. I keep getting the 'invalid SNID' error message when I try to register the product. It is definately the correct 11 digit number that is on the package and the unit itself. I searched the forum and saw many others with this same issue but I did not find an actual answer to my problem. Can someone please help? I am based in the USA.

    in order to chat you need to input our serial # or SNID. I tried. Did not work.

    I have the same problem with an AXC-603G computer and a G206HQL moniter.
