I recently upgraded to 8.1 from 8..now how can i factory reset directly into win 8.1 instead of win8

    You can't.  When you do a true factory reset, it uses your recovery partition.  If your recovery partition is Windows 8, then that is what you'll get when you do a factory reset.  And then you have to update to windows 8.1 through windows update again.

     

    It's possible to go directly to Windows 8.1 operating system using Microsoft Windows 8.1 media tool, but that wouldn't be a true factory reset since it only contains the Windows 8.1 operating system.  You would lose some of the Acer pre-installed software ( but not all as some you can backup and some you can re-download).

     

    My advice is that you create both a USB factory default recovery drive AND a DVD backup of your Apps and Drivers.
