I have an acer aspire one 722. SNID: [edited to comply with guidelines]. When I turn on my laptop I get this message:

Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)

Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.2.6(09/28/10)

Check cable connection!

PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key

I can't find the boot disk. What should I do? When I insert the boot disk will I lose all of my files?

if you press ALT+F10 at boot, Acer erecovery starts?

if you press F2, HDD is listed on BIOS?

when I did ALT+F10 the message kept repeating and nothing changed until I did CTRL+ALT+DEL. When I tried F2 I found HDD on BIOS but I could select that option.

if you press F12 at boot and select the HDD, the system boot?

if not, probably you need to repair the MBR on your HDD, you will need a windows installation media.
