I installed an SSD drive , installed the computer again .. so far so good .

Restart , i hit the "del" button so i can organize the boot sequence in the BIOS .

I put the SSD drive on number 1 , save and exit .

restart .... and it wont boot from this drive .

so i restart again .. hit f12 to get a boot menu and when i select to SSD in this menu , than it boots perfect .

So to boot from my SSD drive , i have to hit f12 each time my computer starts and select the SSD drive to boot .

so the benefit of the fast boot from the SSD gets lost due to this procedure i have to follow .

How you can help me with this problem - Bios = P01-A3

thanks

Disconnect the sata data cable and the sata power cable of your HDD.  Your SSD should be the only drive connected.

Restart your computer couple times.  Load the BIOS defaults if necessary.

Your computer should now be booting to the SSD.

    Reconnect your other HDD,

Restart your computer and it should still be booting to the SSD.

Edit:  if you tried installing Windows on your SSD while you had your other HDD still connected, that can cause problems too......if your HDD had an EFI partition.

You can start over if you want....

    1. Disconnect your HDD

    2. Connect SSD

    3. Wipe SSD (be careful---make sure you select the correct disk)

    4. Install OS to SSD

    5. Restart computer a couple times

    6. Reconnect HDD

You shouldn't need to mess with boot order and that may also be the source of your problems.
