Acer aspire 4741G support sata 2 or sata 3?. i just change HDD to SSD but i don't know it suport SATA3?

    Hello,

     

    This model supports SATA 2.0 (3Gb/s) but SATA 3.0 (6Gb/s) backwards compatibility to SATA 2.0 and SATA 1.0.

    Hello,

     

    I think you have misunderstood the informations:

    SATA Rev 1.0 = 1.5Gb/s

    SATA Rev 2.0 = 3Gb/s

    SATA Rev 3.0 = 6Gb/s

     

    1,2 and 3 mean Rev=revision and not the number. E.g If you buy a SDD SATA 3.0, it will also works in SATA 2.0. You just have to replace the HDD by the new SSD. USB is not SATA.

     

    --- Don't forget to create the recovery media and save your personal data before to replace it. You'll need them to do a clean install on the new SSD. ---
