Hi,

I have a tablet iconia one 7 with Android 4.2.2 i can not change the smtp port to 25 on the email configuration.

Is an bug from Android ?

Have you tried the manual setup too?

i don't have the one 7 but on other Acer devices you can change the SMTP port just tapping on the port number and enter yours.

to be honest posrt 25 is not the safest, most providers block this port on emails.

I need to use the port 25 for smtp, my ISP prodiver for the email use that! I try to change the default port ... the aplication let me do so .. but whem i saved .... cam back 587 (that is by default).

Make sure you have SSL turned off.

I change to port 25 but it does not assume.

The ISP requires activation for SMTP port 25, because it will be configured automatically?

Are you sure that you disabled security login on smtp?

587 is TLS security and you can't change that, you need to setup security to none to have port 25.

I made the upgrade to new verison 4.4.

This new version lets me switch smtp port without problem! But still doesn´t work.
