Hi everyone.

I hope i can get some help. My iconia A500 has gone into APX mode, how can I restore it?

I have been reading some of the suggestions but they all require the tablet to be booting somehow, mine is totally black screen and when I connect to my PC it indicates APX, and lastly too bad I didnt have any backup, in fact I only connected to the PC after it had already bricked. So I dont have the CPUID and I dont know how to get it. Thanks for your concern.

Without CPUID, you can't do much and if you already know that you need CPUID, you know where to find this informations on the web.

The only solution is to send it to Acer service but i think is not worth.

Thanks, and this is getting more sad.

I had read somewhere about a method for getting the CPUID using lunux, but it was abit too complex for my little mind. Thanks and I guess I can dig a grave for this tab and run far away from acer.
