Acer Iconia Tab A700 Jelly Bean 4.1

My Acer Iconia Tab A700 starts up, goes to logo screen, shuts off, starts again, continiously.  I tried the reset button at the bottom, to no avail.  Please help.

    How do I reset the hardware and software to factory defaults on my Android tablet?

     

    If that does not work, we would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

    Thank you for your reply, I had already looked at the way to reset the hardware and software on my tablet from info I found on the site.  But since my tablet with the Jelly Bean operating system did not boot, I could not get into the settings.

    I made a call to technical support, and got in contact with a very nice gentleman, who even though my warranty had expired a month ago, extended the warranty until the end of November, told me to pack up and ship the tablet to the service depot.

    They received it last monday, and are working on it under warranty.  Don't let anybody say that Acer doesn't take care of their customers, I have never had any problems with Acer's or with Gateway's service.  And I have had Gateway and Acer computers for at least the last 15 years. I would suggest if you have a problem with your computer, tablet, or phone, which can not be solved with the FAQ, or here at the community, just to get all your facts and info together, and chat with one of their techs.

    I'm sure they will have a solution for your problem.

    I was wondering how you were able to contact Acer if your warranty was up? My Iconia Tablet was doing the exact same thing as you described, the Acer logo screen then vibrating then shutting off and then the whole process over and over again without it powering on. I tried to contact customer support but they say my warranty is out of date, so was never able to speak with anyone. Is there a phone number that I can call that you are aware of? Thanks for any info you can provide. Also, when I tried to contact customer support it was several months ago but my warranty was actually still within the year time frame, but I didn't realize this until I found my reciept several months later!
