Just means you've got longer to wait... They seem to be working on replacing update servers for older machines, though I expect when they are back it'll still have just the old updates. Only new machines are getting KitKat rolled out.

Updated my A1-810 using the OS update posted online at Acer.AV0K0.A1-810.RV0BRC05.PA.CA and it has BRICKED my unit, causing a non-stop reboot loop.

Now I cannot downgrade (because of the bootloader update applied durring the KitKat update) and am **bleep** out of luck because my warrenty expired back in July.   Sad part is this update was just released online last week (11/06/14), and I'm sure anyone might have the same issue if they applied the update as I have.

Acer sucks.  Plain and simple.
