My tablet Acer Iconia A1-810 (with KitKat version) was freezing all the time and I make a normal factory reset from settings. The problem continued to appear and I decided to make a hard factory reset using tablet buttons. After confirm "yes, wipe all data", the tablet start to show a screen with the android logo and saying "erasing...". It's been 3 days now and nothing changes. Not even when I press the reset button and turn on the device that screen appears again.

I've tried to remove (unplug) the battery and plug back in; Tried to get back to recovery mode (power button + volume up) but keeps to show that screen; Any action becomes useless... Nothing works.

Any solution?? Thank you for any response!

i think the last resort will be a complete rom flash but that can't be discussed here, since the tool involved is not available to public.

Hint: have a look to XDA community.

Was told by two sources that motherboard is bad. I have same tablet model and same problem.  Too bad. Mine lasted 39 months.
