Camera doesn't work. Error message gallery has stopped. Returned to be fixed but it was sent back the same way. Was told to download from the play store but that doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

If you updated to 4.4.2 and you already tried factory reset and still no luck, then you need to send it again to Acer service.

Someone else who was having troubles with camera on Android found that trying a different camera app worked for them. You might try that to see if it's a configuration or corrupted install of the default app.

I have tried several free cameras from the google playstore.  One of them worked for about two minutes, then was gone with the same error message.  I haven't been able to get one to work since.

Then I'm afraid I have to agree with IronFly, time to contact Acer support to see about a repair.
