Can't update BIOS on Aspire Z3-605 AIO

Hello,

I am currently working on an Acer Aspire Z3-605 AIO. i am trying to upgrade the BIOS on this computer due to issues upgrading to windows 10. I have searched the acer website for the latest bios version using the PC's serial number. when i try to exicute the batch file for the update it gives me error 18: unable to start a secure flash session. i have logged into it as admin in windows and also disabled secure boot mode in BIOS and still unasble to sucessfully flash. i have also tried going into windows 8 recovery and using command prompt to exicute the batch file. the BIOS version right now is P11-A1 and trying to update it to P11-A3.

any help would be apreciated,

Which step is giving you trouble?

A couple of other people have had problems, so it might be a question that only Acer can answer.

what step? all the instructions say is to double click on the batch file and then restart back into BIOS and restore defaults. when i do that i do that it still shows i have the old BIOS installed. after trying several times i discovered the error message i was getting when i ran the batch file.
