Acer Z3731 All-in-One "beeps" constantly with no bios screen using F2?

I need help diagnosing this problem... I have an older Windows 7 (X64) Home Premium installation on this system. It has been suffering from fragmentation due to Microsoft's constant upgrading of Windows 7, and gradually slowing down, so I broke down and tried to install a bank of RAM I had purchased to upgrade the system two years ago but had not gotten around to putting in. I laid the box face down on my bed, took out the stand mounting screws (3), pried off the plastic back cleanly, and unscrewed the 5 small phillips screws that hold the metal case closed. I inserted the new RAM into the vacant slots, clamped it in place carefully, and reassembled everything. When I powered it up, all I got was a constant "beep" and no apparent ability to get into the BIOS via F@ to change things, or to boot from an alternate source using F12. I have a "replacement" matching "green" WD hard drive arriving tomorrow or the next day that cost me $51 on Amazon, less than the cost of a depot service call at a local computer service store, and I backed the system up to my NAS just before opening the case. Whast should I try next?

on desktop and AIO is DEL the key to enter BIOS normally.

if it beeps after adding ram, please check if ram stick is compatible with your PC or has the same specs of installed ram sticks.

Final jury on this issue is still out. By replacing the hard drive and reverting to the orignal 4gb RAM that came with the system, I was able to restore my computer from a backup that I had stored on a hard drive attached to my router (NAS service) and get back into the online community. A new set of 4 gb worth of 2gb chips from a different vendor are on the way and will be tried when they arrive. The hard drive which came out of the computer will not spin up in a new enclosure I bought for it and I'm still not sure whether it is because of the drive or the enclosure since it "tried" to spin in the case when the system was constantly "beeping" but because of the "beeping" and the fact that I had put the case back together before trying things, I'm not sure which was the "original" problem, and which might have happened during the process of opening the case for the first time ever, some four years after it was purchased. At any rate, right now I know that the BIOS is current, the hard drive is new, and hopefully, the RAM will work when it arrives.

To anyone following this thread... I'm pretty sure I had two problems triggered by my effort to upgrade RAM on this unit. The original WD 1TB drive which came with the unit may have "died" when I moved the computer around and laid it face down on my bed several times "testing" to see if I could get 4 gb more ram to be recognized. The RAM may have been the original trigger, but by the time it went to a professional shop, I had ordered a replacement drive and it was installed as part of the process of evaluating what was causing the "BEEP" The guys at the shop said I had RAM that was of comparable specifications to the original KENSINGTON chips in the case (the new ones were from CRUCIAL) but that they did not "work" even if installed alone. I'm still waiting for Amazon to deliver the chips I ordered... They must be coming from China it has been so long.
