My Husband and I bought an All-in-One somewhere around 3 years ago. About 3 months ago, the screen just went black while using it. We took it into an IT company and they told us the motherboard failed. While trying to back up the computer, it was determined that the hard drive was failing as well. They informed us that this is definitely not normal that multiple components failed all around the same time. We obviously got a faulty computer, since it does not seem like this is a very common problem. Is there any way to try and work around the 1 year warrenty and get some compensation for this computer? We only used it as a basic home computer to store our family photos and check email. You would think they had to go through more extensive testing to find complete duds, instead of selling them to customers and losing their loyality. We used to specifically buy Acer products, and now we just cannot trust anything that has their brand on it.
