Removing Keyboard on an Aspire M5-583P

I have 2 stuck keys as a result of a spill and need to remove the keyboard.  Can anyone tell me the secret to getting the keyboard out?  I have removed the back panel, but there is no apparent way to get to the keyboard and I am stuck.

Thanks in advance....

Re: Removing Keyboard on an Aspire M5-583P

I'd resist the temptation to remove the KB. It's affixed by plastic tabs that are difficult to disengage and easy to break unless you have six hands. Furthermore, once you remove the KB,  you still won't be able to access the backside of the sticking keys unless you pop the keys off which you can do without removing the KB. And it's also very difficult to get the keys back on with their see-saw plastic retainers.

If it were my machine, I'd get a compressed gas cleaner (at Staples, Office Depot, BestBuy etc) and try to blow out the whatever debris that is making the keys stick.

But if you want to try removing the KB to see first hand what you're gonna up against. take a look at this video about mid-way thru. It's similiar to your machine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxVUxlV-q8I
