I recently changed the screen for my acer aspire one 725-0691, and when I completed the change the computer will no longer charge (the charge light isn't lit and I tried turning it on to see if there was any power) and it has no power in the battery for me to check out the BIOS which I read was the usual approach. I appreciate any insight in advance

Changing the screen will have no affect on the charging of your laptop, so I can only presume you may have a loose connection or may have damaged something whilst you had it apart.

Try taking it apart again to see if you can spot something wrong - I presume it doesn't work at all on mains, so check around that area first.
