Hello

I have an acer aspire v5 originally it was a v5-431 with a fried mobo. ordered and replaced it with a v5-471 mobo.

For the life of me i can't get the wifi card to turn on i've changed it with 3 different ones which i know work( i tested them in my msi gt70) I've factory restored windows 8 64bit. I've tried new drivers i even get it running with a dlink usb card but that is a pain and it eats a usb that i need. no matter what i do i can not get the card to turn on. i've tried using control panel to turn it on and what not. control panel says it its enabled but there is still an x in the bottom left of the icon.   I cant get it ti turn on or off with fn+f3 which is the key for turning it on or off. please help.

    hi..

Is you computer shipped with windows 7 or windows 8?

Could you please confirm the name of the wireless adapter displayed in device manager?

Do you receive any error messages?
