The connection where the power adapter plugs into the laptop has been getting progressively looser over the past couple of months, for a while it would charge when i moved the plug to a certain position, now it wont charge at all.

I replaced the power adapter with a new one and it has not changed the problem.

Power lights are blinking on and off even with the laptop turned off, sometimes the battery light blinks orange for a while too.

I tried to turn it on with the adapter plugged in and the battery removed and nothing happened.

problem is the connector on the mainboard need to contact Acer local service

hi have you fixed the problem ? if you have may i know the cost ? 

.an Acer Aspire 5750 Laptop owner with a similar problem.
