We would need a bit more information to help. I'm not sure if you have a notebook or a desktop. Assuming it is a notebook, from your description, it sounds like you are entering the BIOS by pressing F2. Hitting F10 in the BIOS would tell it to save and exit, which would reboot the machine. I would start by resetting the defaults of your BIOS to see if that helps going forward.
I'm including a screenshot of one our units, you should have something similar but I can't confirm that it will be exactly the same without know what unit you have.
