    Hello GSiew

When you say the screen freezes and locks, do you mean the computer itself?

Do you get any error messages? Have you noticed any other problems (like your pc running slow)? Please post back and I will see if I can help.

No error messages. The pointer just stops moving and keyboard + touchpad do not respond. all buttons do not respond. I can only presss hard on the power button and restart. Thanks

It sounds as if you may have a hardware problem.

If your PC is still under warranty, contact Acer support for your region.

If it is out of warranty, you could try to restore your PC to factory settings first, to see if it solves it (don't forget to back up all your data first!).

If this fails, then contact your local PC store to see if they can fix it.

Acer warranty is pretty much worldwide.

Contact Acer support directly, and explain situation to them. I"m sure they will help.
