Hi,

 I have upgraded the operating system from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, through windows store. But on the bottom right of the desktop screen it says "windows 8.1 secureboot isnt configured correctly build 9600"

Is anybody experiencing the same problem. Any suggestions will greatly appreciate?

In the BIOS turn secureboot

Hi,

Please follow the below steps:

1. start/restart your computer then press F2 to enter the bios.

2. go to security tab and set supervisor password. (use1234 for simplicity)

3.  go to boot tab and make sure secure boot is enabled.

4. return to security tab and select "reset secure boot settings to factory default"

5. F10 to exit and save
