"Volume manager has been installed" Pops up on startup

Hi guys,

So I recently wiped WIndows 8 from my machine and installed Windows 7 Ultimate from a purchased Disk. This installation worked fine the system runs fine, except that every time I reboot/turn the machine on, it loads the desktop, then a small window pops up saying "you need to restart to complete this installation" and a small box in the corner says volume manager has successfully been installed. and it does this every time I restart/shutoff my PC, I can't seem to find a solution for it... Any suggestions?

Re: "Volume manager has been installed" Pops up on startup

Hi Kenny!

From the desktop, press Ctrl, Shift & ESC to bring up the Task Manager. Click on the "More Details" tab at the bottom if need be. Click on the "Start-up" tab. Check to see if any programs are trying to start that are not needed, specifically one that relates to "Volume Manager", and click "Disable".

Obviously, make sure your AV or any programs you want running are left untouched. Once done, restart your PC to see if the messages still appear.
