My laptop wifi it can not be used,
be on but could not detect hotspot

Hi, I'm sorry that I don't have the answer, other to say that my ACER Aspire V5 has a very simular problem in that the wifi keeps dropping out. The 3 year old HP - that performs admirable. I regret being talked into getting this machine as it has given me issues from day one, with this being the last straw. Aspire  - think this is a mocking name as it is so uninspiring as to be nearly funny.

If you get the answer, I will be grateful as this is making my life unbearable for work. Last ACER for me.

Lots of V5's have problem of dropping the wifi continually.  Many have been fixed by installing latest driver.  Try going to Acer site, find where you can click to start a real-time chat session.  Explain issue, if new driver is needed, they will walk you thru most of the installation process.  Then ask them to email you a copy of the chat session so you can have all the instructions in front of you after session has ended.
