I have acer aspire 5733z with windows 7 installed. Now i want to install windows xp, it shows error. But when i installed windows 8, it installed without any problem. But i have to work on a software which is compatible with windows xp. I tried to install windows xp it showed the same error. What should i do now?? Please help me out please!!!

can you tell us what kind of error appear....is it BOSD(blue screen of death)....but before that try to change the settings of your bios when you are installing win xp into ide mode.... just try...
