how do I get Acer Aspire out of hibernate

Try pressing the Power button. That's how I got mine out of hibernation.
If hibernation is something you don't want your computer to go into you can disable it. Just type cmd in the Search box and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter. Then type the following:
powercfg -h off
After you type that, press Enter and then type Exit to close Command. Your computer will no longer go into hibernation mode.![]()

Maybe the battery is drained? Try plugging in your Acer and leave it plugged in for about ten minutes and then try the power button again(leave your Acer plugged in). If that doesn't work then you might have to contact Acer to see what you can do about it. I'm assuming your computer is new so it would still be under warranty.
If the above works for you then the first thing you should do is disable hibernation mode! That way you won't have to go through this again!![]()
