The global site seems to have the  battery as a addon.This option is even there in amazon,though the global pchome allows you to choose the number of extended batteries. Anyone had any luck ordering from the native taiwanese pchome site.Do they ship gobally ?

This is great news. But just realised its only 2500 mah. Likely will provide 2 hours of extra battery life. Feel 149 dollars is a bit expensive.Further the new BIOS seems to have improved my battery life from 3.5 hrs to 4 hrs

This is the 11 inch ones. I believe in Canada it is also easily available.

Power setting : max battery , latest bios , oldest WIFI drivers (75),removed mcafee,reactivated built in antivirus,removed rest of bloatware.Gets me 4 hrs life easily.

It's larger than the internal battery, which is 2340 mAh, so should get another 4+ hours, thinking the S7 should now make it through a work-day.  My battery arrives this morning, so will see how it performs over the next few days and report back.

For reference I see the first reviews are coming out... looks like 9 hours total when you use it.

So today I was able to use the second battery (S7-391) attached for the first time.  I got just over 10 hours on battery, though admittedly, I wasn't at the computer at all times, so the screen was set to turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity and sleep after 15 minutes, but never away for too long.  I'm happy with the way it performed so far, and it should get better after a few full discharge cycles.

This is great on 3 grounds

1, Makes it easier for me to carry since i can use the battery as a grip since its nice and secure.

2, The base no longer in contact with my lap ,therefore remains cool.

3, Once the primary battery wears out,nice to know that i still can change the secondary batttery.
