Could someone show me how to instal win xp on my AOD 270. When i intal xp2 on it and it gets to 10min in saving it freezes and for xp3 it get stucks at the registering components in 12 mins.

have you totally recover unit and then try all updates?

Unfortunately Intel are not providing drivers for Windows XP, so this OS will not work. Only Windows 7 is supported.

Greatkwame, my friend, let me give you three words of good advice:

Don't do it! Your low budget netbook has a dula-core processor, while Windows XP is the queen of single-core operating systems. Your restore system is included on the hard drive for a reason--it is specifically designed for your netbook. If you install an OS from a DVD, you lose some of your drivers.

All of the parts for your netbook are designed to be compatible with each other under the Win 7 operating system. If you manage to get XP installed, you might have conflicts.

Windows 7 is an outstanding operating system. Anyone who can run XP can learn to run 7.
