good day! first time poster here and if I posted on the wrong thread, please forgive me and please move this to the appropriate thread.
as I wrote on the subject, my sister just bought a new charger (since the previous charger was destroyed by fire) from an authorized distributor but the thing is, I think they gave her an incomplete charger. There are two parts of a charger - the one that has the power adapter and the part that you connect to the outlet. We informed the store that they gave us an incomplete charger but they told us that we still have to purchase the other part from an electrical shop.
My point is, we paid for a charger and by charger, it should be complete and working the moment we receive it and we should not buy from another shop just to have charge the laptop.
Am I correct to insist on the missing part or is that really the practice?
thanks in advance!

Normally these are sold as a charger kits with cords included. Check out the Acer store for your country and your sister's computer model. It should be clear if it is a kit orif power cords are separate.
