Hi guys i have a acer e1-531 notebook and it came with windows 8 pro 64 bit

i got it new 2 months ago and about a week ago the harddrive just stopped working

i never thought that would happen on a new notebook.

Any way i did not make any recovery dvd so i have a new drive and i even picked up a new windows 8 64 bit os to install on the

notebook

But this darn acer notebook will note let me when i go to start the windows install a message pops up and say something like this the windows key does not match the windows image key.

so i take it the windows key most be in the bios is there any think i can do

i did talk to a acer tech and he said i can buy a recovery ubs or dvd

and i don't think that is right the think is new and the drive go and they want to charge me for a new os.
