hello all,

Yesterday I bought aspire v3 571 (black). the SMART PAD (SP) is just to smart for me and is driving me mad/crazy. I want the smart pad to work like any normal touch pad. the SP works as  LEFT CLICK (LC) - i don't want it to work as LC , i just want to behave the SP as a normal touch pad to move cursor where i intend it to move rather than making its own choices.

I googled the prob and apparently its a common issue.

I will appreciate if somone have a solution (excluding the external mouse option) ,otherwise I will end up changing the laptop (which I really don't want).

i have already tried changing the settings.. if you go "tapping" under the first tab "one-finger" .. it suggest "click/select" that is what I want to have changed to "double click" for slecting
