Unbale to get computer to come on. it trys to start and the blue light comes on for 2 seconds. I did the battery reset. The battery is almost dead so I have been using the adapter cord.

So does it work with your AC Adapter? I'm a bit confused by what you're asking.

If it works on AC Adapter, but you only get 2 seconds or so on your battery alone, your battery needs to be replaced.
